Vicki Doeringer’s motivation is simple: she truly cares about helping people. That is why Doeringer started In His Image New Life Christian Stables, a non-profit community and youth outreach ministry. “I felt God’s calling for this ministry to bring hope to those in need,” she says. Those needs include children dealing with anger, depression, low self-esteem, ADD/ADHD, autism, substance abuse and other afflictions. Equine programs and uniquely designed for each individual participating in treatment.
Not only do children benefit from therapeutic services at the ranch, but needy families also receive assistance. Groceries, clothing, housewares and monetary support are among donations provided by New Life Christian Stables.
While Doeringer hopes to expand her volunteer base and expand to a location that enables year-round services, she is proud of what New Life Christian Stables has accomplished. “Helping others and making a positive impact in their lives” is the simple thing that makes Doeringer most proud.
